then why am I working so hard??? Too much to do for a Monday, but we managed to do ALL of the following:
1. Cream 60 ears of Silver Queen corn.
2. Put up (this is the southern term for preparing vegetables to spend the winter months in the freezer) one bushel of butter beans and one bushel of elite peas.
3. Wash and fold four loads of laundry.
4. Take a dip in the pool.
5. Finish Charlaine Harris's Dead over Heels (very light beach trash).
We are going to have corn-on-the-cob and fried okra for dinner and then I am going to hide in my bed. Surely Tuesday will not have so much fun to offer!
